Svengoolie FAQs
When and where can I watch Svengoolie?
Svengoolie is on Me-TV Saturdays at 9pm (10pm est). Click here for the schedule.

Svengoolie is also on the WCIU. Click here for the schedule.
Does Svengoolie have a website?
How do I find out which movie is featured this week?
Click here for Svengoolie's site which lists movie titles each week.
How can I buy Svengoolie merchandise?
Svengoolie T-shirts and collectible buttons are available in the Svengoolie store!  Click here to order with your credit card online.
Were you “Son of Svengoolie?”
Yes- running on WFLD from 1979 to 1986.
Who was the original Svengoolie?
Jerry G. Bishop- on WFLD- from 1970 to 1973.
He gave me, Rich Kozi, permission to be “Son of Svengoolie” and, when I came to WCIU in 1995, gave me permission to just be “Svengoolie.”
What was his theme song?
His original theme song (and mine for my first year) was “Rumble” by Link Ray- sweetened with a track of a woman screaming!
What is your theme song?
It’s an original tune by Doug Graves, titled “Son’s Theme”-
derived from my days as  Son of Svengoolie.
What’s the deal with “BERWYN?!”
When Jerry G. was starting his show, “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In” and Johnny Carson were making small town jokes about “beautiful downtown Burbank.” Also, famous Cleveland horror host Ghoulardi, who was on TV opposite Jerry when he was there, made fun of local suburb Parma.
Jerry discovered the little town that had a parade in honor of mushrooms every year, and decided it would be his target for jokes.
What’s the deal with the rubber chickens?
Rubber chickens are an old comedy prop going all the way back to vaudeville days- Jerry thought it would be funny for him to be pelted with them every time he did a corny punch line. I continue the “family” tradition.
Do they hurt when they hit you?
Constantly.
Did you used to do “the Koz Zone” on Fox?
Yes. Don’t hold that against me.
Do you now- or did you ever –live in Berwyn?
Nope- never.
Did you used to play Wizzo on “Bozo”?
No. No. NO!
Can I request or suggest a movie for the show?
Yes, but that doesn’t mean we’d be able to run it-
It depends on broadcast rights, scheduling, etc.- but I’m always happy to hear what you’d like to see.
Can I order a previous design of Sven t-shirt that came before the current shirt?
Unfortunately, no- all previous designs have sold out before we offered a new design.

Why are some of my shows gone?
We change our schedule around for a number of reasons. The main one being, we are allowed a limited number of runs or times we can air each episode during a certain time period. We don't own these shows, we just rent them so to speak. Thanks for your patience while your favorites are on vacation.

Me-Too is located over the air on channel WCIU-TV 26.4, XFINITY 247/358, RCN 22, WOW 171 and AT&T U-verse 48.  If you’re an XFINITY customer, make sure you check out this link with more info about our programming on XFINITY.
