This was a very interesting look at the South Loop, my neighborhood. I'm a volunteer docent at the Glessner House Museum and know Bill Tyre. Author Olivia Newport and I have created a three-book historical fiction series set on Prairie Avenue during the late-nineteenth century, during the time the Glessners, the Pullmans, and the Fields lived there. We're having a book signing/lecture event to coincide with the release of the third book, "The Invention of Sarah Cummings." For more information, check out the link at the Glessner House Museum: http://www.glessnerhouse.org/Events.htm Sincerely, Stephen Reginald
