Riverdale Sweeps At 2019 Teen Choice Awards

The hit CW show Riverdale was riding high on the wave of success at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night. The show was nominated for four different categories and ended the night taking home a surfboard trophy for every single nomination. The show, which returns for its fourth season on CW26 Wednesday October 9th, took home the top television prize of the night, Choice Drama TV Show, along with Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart winning Choice TV Actor/Actress and Choice Ship.

If that sounds familiar it's because Riverdale won the same four Teen Choice Awards last year!

But Riverdale wasn't the only CW show that took home the hardware. Jared Padalecki of Supernatural won the Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor Award and Stephen Amell won the Choice Action TV Actor Award for his portrayal of Oliver Queen in Arrow. Both shows are entering their final season this fall. Stephen took the mantel from The Flash's Grant Gustin who won the same award in 2018.

You can catch all your CW shows returning this fall on Chicago's new home for The CW, CW26.
