2nd Annual Women's March: Chicago to Mobilize for Women in Politics this Saturday

The 2nd Annual Women's March - a march to the polls. Organizers are hoping for a turnout similar to last years. 250,000 packed the streets for that. So as you can expect, there's going to be some traffic changes to be aware of. From 10 pm tonight to 2 pm Saturday, Columbus Drive is shut down from Monroe Street to Balbo Drive. Jackson Boulevard will be closed from Lake Shore to Michigan Avenue and the westbound lane of Congress Parkway will be blocked off between Columbus Drive and Michigan Avenue. The march is one of 350 simultaneous events worldwide- and it’s all about sending a message that women's issues matter. And women involvement in politics is crucial. It all starts right here at Grant Park at 9 am, with a rally to follow at 11 am.
