Chicago Under Wind Chill Advisory

We've already taken the blow of the arctic blast, but the freezing temperatures are more than a nuisance.

Until nine this morning, you can expect to feel winds as low as negative 20 and 25. The areas affected are throughout the state of Illinois, mostly the northern part.

One thing to remember is that these temperatures mean you can get frostbite or hypothermia on any exposed skin if you're out for more than 30 minutes.

There are several options for those who need help staying warm. Warming centers are all around the city from Englewood to Rogers Park.

Your best bet is to call 311 to find out which center is closest to you and also if the hours changed because of the weather

Remember some police districts are also opening their doors to serve the community during these drastic weather lows.
