Fireworks at Navy Pier
One hot spot for your 4th of July plans might be Navy Pier. Their annual fireworks display is a big highlight, but there are some things you want to keep in mind before you head out.
Check out the family-friendly 4th of July parade at Independence Park in the Irving Park neighborhood. Hit the Southside for their annual picnic or hit the Great Lakes Naval Station at 3 for some costumed characters, food and games.
