Residents gathered for a candlelight vigil at the near north headquarters last night. It's the community that Commander Paul Bauer served. Purple bunting has been put up, as Mayor Emanuel has ordered all city flags at half-staff. Governor Bruce Rauner has ordered all flags statewide to be lowered to half-staff in honor of Bauer. Funeral arrangements have been set. Visitation will be held tomorrow evening at nativity of our lord church. You can stop by from 3pm-9pm. The funeral will take place Saturday morning at 10am.
