Annual CPD and CFD charity baseball game

It's that time of year again when the Chicago Police Department faces the Chicago Fire Department in a game of baseball. On July 18, 2018, the Chicago PD Finest and Chicago FD Bravest will be playing at the Guaranteed Rate Field. The actual game starts at 7 p.m. but there are so many things happening before the main event.

Tickets today are $10, since it is game day; they were originally priced $5. There will be free parking at Lot B, which opens up at 4 p.m.

The tribute to all of our fallen will begin at 6:15 and will include pre-game ceremonies. The first pitch is at 7 p.m.

This game is a charity baseball game, which will feature Commander Paul Bauer, who was shot and killed outside the Thompson Center in the Loop.

There are a couple rules for everyone attending. No tailgating is permitted and no guns allowed in the park, which is MLB policy.
