Last month, the film ‘Period End of Sentence’ won an Academy Award and brought the discussion about menstrual equality to the forefront. This morning, we chatted with a Ashley Novoa, a Chicagoan who is making a difference in the lives of women across Chicagoland thanks to her organization called the Chicago Period Project.
