In honor of Black History Month, The U and Che "Rhymefest" Smith takes a tour around Chicago to expand the definition of being Black in America. From Haiti to Mexico to Ghana and beyond, these countries all have a stake in contributing to Black history.
Che and leaders from Ghanaian, Mexican, Haitian and local Black communities spotlighting the individual struggle for independence in their native lands, and its correlation to the continued fight for freedom as an American.
