A new monthly series from Dynamite Entertainment is titled Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys: The Death of Nancy Drew. Yes, that's right - Dynamite Entertainment is commemorating Nancy Drew's 90 years in pop culture by having The Hardy Boys solve her death.
If you think that's an odd way to celebrate, you're not alone.
The reaction to the news on Twitter ranged from concerned to outright disbelief.

In Dynamite Entertainment's defense, it is unfair to judge a (comic) book by it's cover and Nancy Drew's storied past is lined with Hardy Boys crossovers so this may not be as outlandish as the headline appears.
Thankfully we'll have our own Nancy Drew with us Wednesday nights at 8P on Chicago's CW26 for a long, long time.
