See who will become the next State Champs in the IHSA 1A-8A State Football Championships
We're officially state bound to bring you LIVE coverage of the IHSA 1A-8A State Football Championships this Thanksgiving weekend on The U and The U Too.
The action begins Friday on The U Too where you can watch the 1A-4A Championships live from Hancock Stadium on the ISU campus in Normal, IL. Friday’s matchups include three local Chicago teams, Chicago Christian, Montini and DePaul College Prep. Veteran broadcasters Sam Brief, Jack Mclnerney, Mark Lindo, and Dave Bernhard will serve as members of the broadcast crew for the games, with Kacy Standohar reporting from the sidelines.
Saturday, we’re kicking things up a notch with the 5A-8A Championships on The U featuring seven Chicago-area teams such as #1 ranked Loyola Academy (11-2) and #2 ranked Mount Carmel (10-3). Saturday you’ll hear from Sam Brief, Jack Mclnerney, Dave Bernhard, and Mark Lindo in the broadcast booth, and Nicole Sedivy on the sidelines.
