E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
Drew Barrymore has been around the movie industry for quite some time, she starred in roles as early as five years old. But her first main role that had made her known worldwide was Steven Spielberg’s E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She played Gertie, the little sister of the main character Elliot. The movie pursues a lonely 10-year boy named Elliot, who finds a friendly alien in his backyard and tries to help get him home safely.
Scream (1996)
Drew takes the role as Casey Becker, in Wes Craven’s Scream, in which she only gets a literal 15 minutes of fame. Barrymore's character starts off one of the many killings of high school students from a masked slasher killer.

The Wedding Singer (1998)
This romantic comedy film was the first of many Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler collaborations. Adam Sandler stars as Robbie Hart, a wedding singer who has a broken heart after being left at the altar. But when he meets Drew Barrymore's character, Julia Sullivan, who is a bride to be, Sandler's character falls in love and tries to win her over before she gets married.

This upbeat romantic comedy stars Drew Barrymore as Josie Geller aka “Josie Grossie,” a 25-year-old copy editor for a newspaper in Chicago. An action-comedy movie that stars three elite detective women who fight their way for voice-ID software that was taken from their mysterious boss. Drew Barrymore stars as one of Charlie’s Angels Dylan Sanders who uses martial arts and tech skills with her other angels Alex Munday and Natalie Cook, played by Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz.
50 First Dates (2004)
Another romantic comedy that stars Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler! Although, this film has a rom-com twist for the ages. Adam Sandler plays Henry Roth, a womanizing marine veterinarian who tries to win over Drew's character, Lucy, every day due to her short term memory loss.
