Bob ❤️ Abishola is a love story about Bob, a middle-aged compression sock manufacturer from Detroit who has a heart attack and falls for Abishola, his no-nonsense Nigerian nurse. Though they are truly from different worlds, Bob is enchanted by this hardworking woman who came to America to find a better life for herself and her twelve-year-old son, Dele. Abishola lives in a small apartment with her super-protective relatives, Auntie Ola and Uncle Tunde, who couldn't be more different than Bob's mother, Dottie, sister Christina and younger brother Douglas. Exploring their differences via the unexpected cross-cultural pairing is funny and surprisingly universal in this comedy about two families and the love story that binds them.
