Chicago Public Schools are getting $3.1 billion in funding this year

For the first time in many years, the budget was released for Chicago Public Schools in the spring. Chicago Public Schools will be receiving more than $60 million in additional funding and investments, which will support programming and teachers' salaries. Dr. Janice Jackson, CEO of Chicago Public Schools, posted a video on Twitter breaking down the budget.
