Congratulations to the Boys IHSA State Basketball Champions!

We congratulate 1A State Champs Yorkville Christian, the 2A State winners, Nashville, Class 3A State Champions Sacred Heart-Griffin and the Class 4A State winners Glenbard West! Glenbard West finished its season at 37-1 and is ranked number one in the state.
The IHSA tournament started with 16 teams in each class and the winning teams had to endure sectionals, super-sectionals and semifinals to get to the Championship game.
In a two-week span, The U brought both the 2022 Boys and Girls IHSA State Tournament games to our Chicagoland audience. In all, we broadcast 32 IHSA games, bringing the drama, emotions and glory of all the games to you.
