Little Village Street Vendors Say Mayor’s Suggestion To Go Cashless Won’t Keep Them Safe
Mayor Lori Lightfoot recently said helping vendors not carry cash may deter robberies along 26th Street. Vendors say they want more police and carrying less cash would create other problems for their businesses.
