The Black community has been at the heart of democratic politics for generations. Since 1932, it’s backed the Democratic presidential candidate by huge margins in every election. However, that support is slipping. Exit polls showed 12% of Black voters chose Donald Trump for president in 2020. That's the best showing for any Republican since 1996.
