Ashley Barnes

Ashley Barnes grew up in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood and attended Saint Ignatius College Prep. She went to Loyola University, where she majored in Communication Studies and found her passion for broadcasting. She previously interned with 'You & Me' and has been associated with WVON Radio. She also worked in social media for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and the Salvation Army. Ashley most recently worked in television in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Throughout her interstate travels she has maintained an active leadership role in her communities. After showing her daughters different parts of country, Ashley is ecstatic to be back home to raise them in the city that made her who she is today.
