LGBTQ Seniors Say They’re At Risk After Security Guards Removed At Northalsted’s Town Hall Apartments

Heartland Alliance, a social services nonprofit that manages the affordable and LGBTQ-friendly senior living facility, said the security guards were removed amid quadrupling service costs. But residents at Town Hall Apartments, 3600 N. Halsted St., say they had no input on Heartland Alliance’s decision.
