Daley College gets a new Engineering and Manufacturing Center
Earlier today, Mayor Rahm Emanuel attended the groundbreaking for the new $45 million Daley College Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing Center. Mayor Emanuel has been a supporter of the city colleges throughout his time as Mayor of Chicago.
This project will bring the total capital investment by City Colleges of Chicago since Mayor Emanuel took office to more than $500 million, adding capacity to serve an additional 3,800 students each year in the new Daley Center for Excellence.
The new development is expected to be open to students in the first quarter of 2019.
