The Chicago Bakery Offering Second Chances
As part of the DNC's commitment to Chicago, it created a local vendor directory highlighting minority, veteran, and women-owned businesses in the area for guests to check out. One of the businesses on the list is La Matriz Bakery out of Rosemoor. The owner is a fifth-generation baker who doesn't just serve baked goods, she also offers second chances.
